Junior Club Cricket Gear (Ages 9–15)

Moving up to junior club cricket is a big step. Most juniors in this age group start facing a hard ball, which means a proper English willow bat and full batting protection become essential. This collection brings together the bats, protection and training gear young club cricketers aged around 9 to 15 need for the season.

Choosing a junior cricket bat

Junior English willow bats come in sizes 4, 5, 6, Harrow and Youth. The right size depends on your child's height, not their age. A bat that's too heavy slows down their swing and can lead to bad habits, so it's worth choosing a lighter bat they can control.

Protection juniors need
