Choosing a senior club bat

Most club cricketers don't need a players-grade bat. A Grade 2 to Grade 5 English willow bat gives excellent performance and durability at a more sensible price, with higher grades usually offering straighter grains and a cleaner face. Short Handle (SH) suits most adult batters, while Long Blade (LB) suits taller players. Pick a weight you can swing comfortably for a full innings – a lighter bat with good pickup usually beats a heavy one.

Full-body protection
